A mobile enrollment office for a Medicaid managed care plan.
A Mercedes Sprinter configured as a mobile enrollment office with private stations. Designed around the MetroPlus field enrollment workflow, built for HIPAA from layout to connectivity, with full vehicle branding built to the plan's standards.
The challenge, the solution
The Challenge
Many New Yorkers qualify for low or no cost health insurance but never enroll. They don't walk into an office, and a folding table on a sidewalk doesn't give them a private place to share personal information or finish an application. MetroPlus needed a vehicle that could park in the neighborhoods where those people already are, protect their privacy during intake, carry the plan's branding, and fit regular city parking.
The Build
A high roof Sprinter configured as a working enrollment office. The interior looks and works like an office, not an RV: private enrollment workstations, document scanning and printing, and cellular plus satellite connectivity, so residents apply for or renew coverage on the spot, in the places they live, work, and gather. The exterior wrap carries the plan's full branding, so the vehicle markets the program everywhere it parks.
In the field
2
Private enrollment stations
Each one a protected space for member intake.
Branded
Full vehicle wrap
The plan's branding on every side, working as advertising at every stop.
On the spot
Complete enrollment
Members apply for or renew coverage in one visit, at the curb.
NYC
Rotating neighborhood schedule
Covering far more ground than booth or table setups, with a much higher close rate.
